Healthcare System of india

 To improve the healthcare system in India by both private and public healthcare providers Efforts are appreciable. The Government of India has made important efforts to improve health services in the country. There are some information about health services in India as follows:-


Public Health Services:-

  The public healthcare system in India is provided by government hospitals, primary health centers and community health centers. These health facilities provide concessional or free health services to the general public.


Private healthcare:-

  The private healthcare system in India is quite widespread and provides high quality medical services. Private hospitals, clinics and nursing homes provide special medical services and procedures at the cost.


Healthcare Workforce:-

  India has a major healthcare workforce including doctors, nurses and other medical professionals. However, there is a shortage of health professionals in rural areas.


Healthcare Infrastructure:-

  Healthcare infrastructure in India has improved a lot in the last few years, but there is still considerable inequality in the availability of health services between urban and rural areas. Access to health services in remote and rural areas is a major issue.


Health insurance:-

  Health insurance coverage is increasing in India, both private and public insurancers are offering health insurance policies. The government has also launched various health insurance schemes to provide cheap health services to the disadvantaged sections of the society.


Overall, India is trying to improve its healthcare system, but still has to go a long way in terms of providing equal access to quality health services for all citizens.
